Whistlewood is a soft yet delicate baby blanket. It features a lacy leaf pattern framed by a smooth garter stitch border. It is knitted in one piece and the pattern is easy to remember – perfect for tv knitting, I’m telling you.

This blanket is 32” wide and 40” tall - It can be adjusted in size and yarn weight to satisfy your comfy throw cravings! All the instructions are given at the beginning of the pattern.

The lacy maple leaf pattern is charted, and for the knitters who aren’t comfortable with charts, written instructions are also provided.
For the specific stitch that represents the leaf hem, you’ll also find a step--by-step explanation with pics - just in case.

Yarn requirements: approx 525 m / 575 yds of Aran weight yarn
Needles: 5.5mm - US 9

Please don’t hesitate to tell me if there’s anything that seems unclear to you, or if you spot a mistake.
