This Adorable little 8” elephant is knit in the round. All limbs are attached as you go. Quick to knit.

A larger version of this pattern can be found in Blissa Vol. 2 from Bagsmith.
Incredibly soft toy elephant, very little sewing required (sewing the ears on and closing up openings in legs, top of head, and trunk). Very interesting construction-- legs are knitted and placed on holders. When you arrive at the point in the pattern where the legs are attached, the legs are placed on needles and you knit a stitch from the leg and a stitch from the body together.
Specifies 2 skeins of Blissa Alpaca yarn in Lt. Grey, 1 skein charcoal. Also need:
Set of five double point needles in US10.5
spare needle
Five large stitch holders
Five large stitch markers
Polyester Fiberfill (2 lb. bag)
Two 7/8” black shank buttons for eyes
scrap yarn
