❄️ A stocking with serious cabin vibes

Hang one of these by the fireplace and it instantly feels like a cabin Christmas. Wintry colorwork in tweedy yarn gives it that cozy, woodsy look without any fuss.

This knit stocking is a fun colorwork project for knitters who are ready to carry two colors. Make one for everyone, or just one for you. We won’t tell.

✨ What makes it work

• Two color colorwork. One very wintry look.
• Tweed yarn. Merino, alpaca and Donegal tweed give it a rustic, heirloom feel.
• Folded cuff. A neat finish at the top, with an optional leather strip for hanging.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: City Tweed Aran, Knit Picks (55% Merino Wool, 25% Superfine Alpaca, 20% Donegal Tweed, 164 yds/100g). Colors shown: Snowbank (1 ball, 130 yds) and Harbour Seal (1 ball, 100 yds)
• Needles: Size 8 circular needles
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers · Yarn Needle · Scissors
• To finish like the sample: Leather strip for hanging (optional)

• Skill level: Intermediate, colorwork knowledge
