DER WHITESTRIPE SLIPOVER…

… ist ein grafisches Spiel von Linie und Form. Von oben nach unten gearbeitet, entsteht das Modell in separatem Vorder- und Rückenteil. Durch das Arbeiten in Reihen bleibt die Intarsientechnik bewusst einfach gehalten. Seitliche Abschlüsse werden direkt mitgearbeitet und gehen fließend in die Seitennähte über. Die Seitennähte stabilisieren das Gestrick und geben dem Kleidungsstück Struktur – ideal insbesondere für einfädige Garne.
Im Zentrum des Slipovers liegt ein Band aus weißen Streifen, das sich in einer sanften Verschiebung über das Kleidungsstück bewegt und seine Ausrichtung von Abschnitt zu Abschnitt subtil verändert. Diese wandernde Linie bringt Bewegung in die ansonsten klare Geometrie und verleiht der Komposition Tiefe und Spannung.
Farblich abgesetzte Flächen rahmen die Streifen ein; ihre Grenzen sind so gesetzt, dass Kontrast, Richtung und Proportion betont werden.
