Bring the beach to your home with this beach hut doorstop. Whitley Bay is a popular seaside town on the North east coast of England and the inspiration for this beach hut, complete with lifebelt and bunting.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the beach hut is knitted in acrylic yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The bunting is strung onto a single crochet chain worked on a crochet hook.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Stylecraft Special 4 ply or Double Knit; 100% acrylic; up to 50g in each shade.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, a 3mm crochet hook, and a weight to put inside the doorstop.

SIZES
One size only - 13.5cm tall (not including flagpole) x 10cm wide x 10cm deep.

TECHNIQUES
