Details/Description:
So yeah…about that temperature blanket I said I was going to make again this year…
I know I can’t be alone in this. You’ve got ambitious goals in January. You may even actually start your blanket. Maybe you’re still going strong in February. But then you miss one day, then another.
I get you. It’s a lot of pressure to continually work on something every day! And once you get behind it feels like a monumental task to catch up.
For all my fellow procrastinators…or let’s face it just normal people with busy lives…I created my Ripple Temperature Shawl.
I’ve designed it with a few thing that I hope will ensure your success.

  1. Monthly rows, not daily.
  2. Two size options for a quick WIP
  3. A simple stitch pattern with increases that keep the pattern interesting, not monotonous.

Feel free to work up this shawl during the year, or just fake it and work it all up at the last minute in December. Forgo the temperature assignment all together and just make it for fun. It’s up to you!

I worked up 2 different size options for this shawl. Using the same pattern, this shawl can be worked using bulky or worsted weight yarn. Your yarn choice will determine how large your shawl will be!
