Pattern not available at present as I am updating it. Being a perfectionist, I want to make improvements, so have taken the original pattern off for the moment.

Thank you for your patience.

This came about as my ‘mad-about-Dr Who’ brother asked me to knit him a scarf with the special question mark on it.

The chart can be integrated into a pattern for many of your own projects: repeating vertically only for a scarf; on its own for a wash cloth; vertically and horizontally for a sweater; or whichever way you want for socks or hats! It can be used for stranded, intarsia, or a bit of both– it’s up to you!

Gauge/Materials: Really not so important here, as this can be done in 4ply, for a smaller design, through to DK to Aran, etc, for how large you want to go. I used Aran/Worsted weight and 5mm (US 8) needles. You may need to do a small test piece of part of the chart to see what suits.

Happy knitting!
