Why Am I Not At The Beach? Barefoot Sandals
Adult sized barefoot sandals. These sandals are made in a triangle motif with toe chain. Ties of your choice are added after motif is completed, and attachment instructions are not included in the pattern.
Yarn used is a #5 crochet thread. Pictured is Artiste acrylic thread from Hobby Lobby in the color Waterlily. Any #3/#5/#10 crochet thread should work, and gauge is not important as long as the motif fits over your foot. Blocking is optional.
Ideas to make it yours:
Solid colors will show off the pattern better, but variegated colors do look good with this pattern as well.
Match or contrast a pair of every day sandals and wear them together.
Add beads to the final row for a little bit of bling.
Have fun with the ties. The options are endless, and each one gives the sandals a different look.
Pattern is written in English, using standard US terms.
