Wickson is an unusually sweet type of crab apple that is increasingly being used for hard cider production. Like a good cider, which strives to balance sweet, tart and acidic/tannic variables, the cables in this hat are relatively simple, but when combined in tight succession create a single, beautiful and very dense fabric that makes the most of this beautiful lightweight yarn. Cheers!
