Wide-Brim Sun Hat
Have your fun in the sun and keep your cool with this ice-blue sun hat by Linda Medina. The eyelet pattern keeps it light and airy.

MATERIALS
3 1 3/4oz/50g balls (each approx 137yd/125m) of Classic Elite Soft Linen (linen/wool/baby alpaca) in #2204 titan blue YARN WT = 3
One each sizes 5 and 8 (3.75 and 5mm) circular needles, 16”/40cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGES
One set (5) size 8 (5mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
Stitch marker
Sewing needle and matching sewing thread
50”/127cm length of 19-gauge steel millinery wire covered with white rayon thread
One plastic wire joiner
Four 3/4”/19mm bulldog clips

GAUGES
20 sts and 32 rnds = 4”/10cm over brim pat st using 1 strand of yarn and smaller needle.
16 sts and 24 rnds = 4”/10cm over crown pat st using 2 strands of yarn held tog and larger needle.
