Wild Fen Cowl
Create a cosy neck cowl, with this easy to follow crochet pattern designed by Sharon Oldfield at Cotton Pod. The cowl is made by alternating between two contrasting balls of Scheepjes Stone Washed Flow. For best results choose two Flow colourways that do not contain the same colours.
I used Cocoon (09) and Harmonia (10).
The colours of the Wild Fen cowl reminded me of the beautiful landscapes found in the Great Fens of the UK, all the different colours melding together to create a rich tapestry of colour. The Scheepjes Stone Washed Flow yarn is perfect for this project, no matter which yarn shades you choose, you will be mesmerised by the ever changing look of your cowl as you work though the rows and colours. You can’t really plan how your cowl will look, you just need to trust your colour choices, the overall process and go with the flow ~ you will not want to put this project down!
This PDF pattern is written using UK crochet terminology. The pattern also includes clear instructions and photos to guide you through the making process.
