This pattern is for a mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

You will need 2 main colors of yarn - one for the background and one for the panther. You will also need a small amount of a different color for the outlines of the mouth, nose, eyes & ears, and then a couple yards for the eye color. This project takes approximately 4 oz of medium weight (#4) yarn in total.
