The first Druid Hat I ever made was for my son when he was around eight years old, and he literally lived in it, so lots of folks saw it.

The feedback I got from that hat was so positive, I decided to start making Wizard and Druid Hats to sell, and they were an instant hit.

“Wilder” than a regular stocking cap, these hats encourage you to lean into your imagination, and let your magical gifts show, while at the same time allowing knitters to use up all kinds of yarn scraps.

Made on 5 mm (US 8) needles, this pattern also works up quickly, which is great if you are making them to sell, or donate as fundraisers.

The pattern includes three sizes, fitting from kids small to a regular adult hat.

Wizard and Druid Hats are a great way we can look good, stay warm, have fun, and tread lightly.
