Hi!

Thank you for checking out my pattern and I hope you have fun making it and sharing the love!

The Wild Jasmine blanket uses tapestry crochet to create squares which are then joined together to make a lap/baby size blanket.

This can be made in any weight yarn using any colours to create your desired size of project.

You will require a main colour (MC) and a contrasting colour (CC) at a ratio of 3:2. I found I used around 1200m of MC to 750m of CC for the squares of the blanket. You will require some more for any size border you choose to add.

Go down 1-2 hook size from what is recommended on the yarn label. Say your yarn suggests a 4mm crochet hook - you can try a 3.5mm and/or a 3mm to see which one you like best.

Tapestry technique requires a little bit of practice if you are new to tapestry crochet but great fun and surprisingly easy!

This square is so versatile - you can make any number of squares you like and join to create a a number of projects - cushions,
dishclothes, placemats, shawls, bed runners, wall hanging or even clothing if you are feeling more adventurous.

I am offering this pattern for free as I want as many people to be able to enjoy it - kindly support my creativity by not copying or altering it and crediting me as the designer.
