Wild Max is inspired by the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are. This is a low-sew pattern, you only need to sew on the horns. The crown is removable and the fur on the crown is optional.

This is an intermediate pattern that uses US terms and crochet techniques, such as: single crochet, increase, decrease, bobble, surface crochet, half colour change, and basic embroidery skills for the eyes (all necessary techniques are explained in detail in the pattern and include video tutorials, so don’t worry if you don’t know them yet).
