Knitting this mohair cardigan is a really quick and fun project. You finally get to use up a lot of saved single skeins from your stash. And get a wonderfully soft and unique cardigan that will go with just anything!

Originally inspired by some photos of Miranda Kerr wearing a lovely hip-hitting mohair sweater (Rodarte - as I just learned), I decided to write up a pattern for my own version with yarn from my stash and a somewhat different gauge and construction.

This is especially a great design for people like me - who simply can’t resist a single skein of wonderfully smooth and interesting yarn from your LYS - ending up with quite a few of these skeins over the years… Here’s (y)our chance!

Skills needed: Stockinette, 1x1 rib, 3-needle BO, picking up sts along edges, basic sewing skills (sleeves). And of course - creativity!

Pattern includes a detailed list with yarns used in my two projects AND a subtitute yarn list.

I hope you like it!
