This shawl starts with a double chain. Sections are added to both sides of the chain. The entire shawl is crocheted in one piece, in single crochet only.

This is not a project you want to work on while in company. You must count, count and count again. But then again, it is rather ‘free-form’. A mistake will become a design feature!

The final shape is asymmetrical which lends itself to nice draping options when used in conjunction with a shawl pin.
