Willani is an asymmetric half-pi shawl. It’s unique shaping is achieved with simple short rows, and accentuated by bright stripes.

Knit using four skeins of Magpie Fibers Swanky DK, it will keep you toasty while looking great! Of course, you can use any dk weight yarn, though I can’t say enough about Magpie’s squishy softness and gorgeous colors. You’ll need 250 yds of each of two colors (blue and heathered grey as pictured) and 500 yds of the third color (white as pictured).

Willani is a relatively simple pattern, and should be easily understood by advanced beginners. Best yet, unlike lace work or fitted garments, Willani will still look great if your stitch count is a little off. So relax, watch a movie, and knit away!
