I designed The William and Willie Earwarmer pattern to match both the William Beanie and the Willie Beanie and Cowl patterns, created in honor of my son James’ special dog William!

This pattern is written for 3 yarn weights: light bulky, bulky, and super bulky. This is written for an advanced beginner and designed to be knit on straight needles, but you may use circulars if you prefer, knitting back and forth. For the yarn weight you want to use, you will need the following needle sizes:

Light Bulky - US 10/6 mm
Bulky - US 11/8mm
Super Bulky - US 13/9mm
