See ‘William’s Socks - Expanded’ for additional sizes and options.

Cuff down socks.
Written for toddler sizes, but can easily be sized up for adults. (Use a heavier weight yarn, and a larger needle size.)

Ribbing pattern is very stretchy, and will fit a wide range of widths. There’s even a little stretch in the length due to the ribbing that extends down to the bottom of the heel. Make these a bit longer than your child’s foot length, and they should fit them through a growth spurt or two!
