This simple textured and gender-neutral beanie pattern can be finished in two ways: as a snug-fitting beanie or as a slouchy hat. Available in 10 sizes from newborn through adult large, make one for everyone in the family!

The Teen/Adult Small size version of this pattern was the first Weekend Mystery Crochet Along with Underground Crafter. Pattern details were updated after the CAL ended and the mystery was “solved.”

10 sts in pattern for Hat Band = 2.5″ (6.5 cm) across with smaller hook.

12 dc = 4″ (10 cm) across with larger hook.
