A quiet, rhythmic baby blanket with an elegant lace centre and a
clean garter border. Once you settle into the four-row repeat the
knitting becomes almost meditative — your hands find the rhythm,
and the rest takes care of itself.

SIZES
Baby — 59 x 67 cm (23 x 26”)
Small — 73 x 82 cm (29 x 32”)
Medium — 82 x 93 cm (32 x 37”)

YARN
Worsted weight, approx. 200-240 m per 100 g
Baby — 530-560 m (580-615 yds)
Small — 820-860 m (895-940 yds)
Medium — 1050-1100 m (1150-1205 yds)
Individual tension may affect yardage. One extra skein is always
a good idea.

Machine washable wool or a wool blend works best. Avoid cotton,
bamboo or viscose — these fibers sag on larger needles.

NEEDLES
5.5 mm (US 9) circular, 80-100 cm length

GAUGE
17 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm in lace pattern, after blocking.
Blocking is essential — it opens the lace and gives the blanket
its final drape.

SKILL LEVEL
Intermediate. The lace uses yarn overs, k2tog and ssk in a simple
four-row repeat. A good project if you know the basics and are
ready to move on, though not the best choice for a first lace
project.

INCLUDED
Written instructions for all three sizes, full stitch glossary
and abbreviations, construction notes with stitch counts, and a
blocking guide.

Written in international English terms.
All prices in USD.
