Willow the Poodle
Detailed description with pictures on making Willow the Poodle.
Knowledge of the amigurumi basic stitches are needed for this pattern. This includes magic ring, single crochet, increase, decrease, and slip stitch.
This digital pdf includes 18 pages with detailed instructions and images.
Tools & Materials:
• 3.5mm crochet hook – you can use a different size depending on the thickness of your yarn (I would recommend going one size smaller than recommended on the yarn to ensure there is no holes for the stuffing to come through)
• 9mm crochet hook for the fluffy bits
• Tapestry needle / Sewing needle
• Row counter
• Stitch marker
• Black yarn and gray fluffy yarn
• Stuffing
• 8mm brown safety eyes (if you use a different size hook and yarn then you may need to use different size safety eyes) – please note that if you are making this for a young child, this can be a safety hazard and as such I would recommend to rather embroider the eyes than using safety eyes
• 12mm black safety nose – please note that if you are making this for a young child, this can be a safety hazard and as such I would recommend to rather embroider the nose than using a safety nose
• Pair of scissors
Using the above size hook and yarn, the finished poodle is approximately 23cm tall from toes to top of head and 30cm long from nose to tail.
