You will need:

300 grams (180 metres) Super Chunky Faux Fur (I used Wool Warehouse Yarnsmiths *
ZooAura). (Yarn A)
50 grams Chunky Yarn (Yarn B)
5.5mm Straight knitting needles
18mm Toy Safety Eyes
30mm Toy Safety Nose
Toy Stuffing.

I have used this brand of super chunk faux fur for this pattern but there are a lot of super chunky faux fur available in other brands, Lion Brand; Sirdar; James C Brent.

Finished size using super chunky faux fur is approximately 12 inches or 31 cm.

OR
For a smaller puppy I would suggest:
150 grams (225 metres) Peter Pan Precious (Yarn A)
50 grams double knit yarn (Yarn B)
3mm straight knitting needles
10mm toy safety eyes
Toy stuffing
Finished size approximately 8 inches or 20 cm

You can of course use any yarn you wish, but you will need to adjust your needle size to at least 1 or 1.5 smaller than the ball band advises.

The feet, legs and body are knitted flat as one piece, ears, tail and front legs are knitted separately and sewn in place. I have included a very detailed step by step making up guide to help you achieve a very sweet puppy.
