This scarf pattern contains both charts and written instructions. It is knit in two colours of 2ply silk yarn. The main body of the scarf is knit in two separate pieces that are cast off together using three needle bind-off. This allows the pattern stitch to face in the same direction when the scarf is worn. Once the cast off is completed, stitches are picked up along the outside edge and then cast off one at a time as the lace ruffle border is knit. The completed scarf is finished off with several rows of crochet, one of which is beaded.

The softness and flowing beauty of the scarf emerges after blocking. It is a delight to wear and a wonderful accessory to add to any wardrobe.

Lace knitting experience is a must.
