This is a variation of the popular Bilberry Shawl and has been designed specifically for Willow Knits Hand Dyed Silk Worsted yarn. The pattern is relatively easy, so it is suitable for a beginner knitter. Increases are by yarn overs, the body has sections of eyelets made by yarn overs and the edging is a simple picot cast off. It is an easy lace design.
The finished size is 118cm by 75cm (47” by 30”) blocked rigorously.
It requires just one skein of the yarn, but be aware that you must work to tension as there was very little yarn left over.

The sample was made by Anne Scahill at Willow Knits and photographs are copyright to Anne.

Copies of the pattern will also be available from Willow Knits at shows, at a reduced price provided you purchase the yarn.
