WillowLeafsShawl
When I got my hands on this beautiful mohair I wanted to make a Shawl with a pattern of leafs, I don’t why, I just did. Searching on the internet for a pattern took me a lot of time, so I decided to design one myself. At first I knitted with a counting pattern and many mistakes were the result. Then I used a written pattern and colored the different leafs and branches. It was more easy to read and to knit.
This pattern shows you branches with willowleafs. The shawl is knitted from tip to tip ( instead of top down). The shawl in the photo is made with mohair yarn, but you can use any yarn you like, of course.
I also have short version of this pattern (WillowLeafsScarf), made with the same yarn. It is sized down to a scarf)
Yarn:
3 skein of Mohair by Canard (mohair and mulberrysilk) 25gram/225 meters. (Feel free to use any yarn you like, but know that this size is made with needles 5. If you vary with it, of course the size will be different.)
Needles: 5 (am.8)
