I am working on creating a Tim Burton inspired blanket using knitted dishcloth squares!
As you can tell I am a HUGE Tim Burton fan :D

Cloth knitting patterns are excellent for use as flannels, dishcloths, cloths, or a blanket square.

Materials Needed:
Straight knitting needles, size US 7 (4.5mm)
100% Cotton Medium/Worsted Weight yarn or Acrylic Yarn 8 ply (this is what I used
Darning needle needed for finishing.
Stitches: Knit & Purl.
Skill: Beginner - Easy

Guage: 8 stitches and 7 rows = 1 inch in Stocking Stitch
Yardage: 66 - 87 yards (60 - 80 m)
Finished Size: 23cm x 27cm

This pattern is worked top to bottom.
If you knit tighter perhaps use larger needles to prevent curling.
