Wind in the Sails is inspired by pinwheel patterns for patchwork quilting and adapted to crochet. The pattern only require one type of square to create fun colour pattern. Make the blanket in 2 or more colours.

The yarn requirements and instructions are given for DK weight yarn and 48 squares to make a cot blanket, but using different weight yarn and hook and making more or less squares you can adapt the pattern to your own desired size. The pattern is available in both UK and US terminology.

Hook: 4 mm (G)
Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, in Champagne White and Stormy Grey, 3 balls of each
Measurement 1 square: 10x10cm (4x4”)
Measurement blanket: 94x73cm / 37x28 ½”, (48 squares)
Gauge: 10 sts/5 cm (2”) (worked in double crochet)
