Wind Spinner
This design is really fun to make, it is quite easy for a beginner too. placing in an area with a wind tunnel or under cover outside it looks super cool, you could even customize it by adding beads to the top of it or attaching a bell to the bottom, making a wind spiral as well as a wind chime. Great for a witchy, boho vibe.
Once finished i recommend twist the spiral gently to help it hold its shape. If using acrylic yarn, block with heat (steam) rather than cold water blocking. Alternatively, a fabric stiffener also helps the spiral hold its twist. But it is up to the individual, you do what you wish :slightly_smiling_face:
The size also varies depending on whether you use a hook size 3.0 or 4.0mm and also what pattern you follow if you follow the double crochets then it will be bigger but if you use the alternative pattern (half double crochet) it will turn out smaller, so keep that in mind.
It does say 100% acrylic yarn but you can use whatever yarn you would like.
