This circular yoke sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. Short rows at the neckline help raise the back and lower the front for a comfortable, well-balanced fit.
The design features the innovative live loop crochet technique, used to create striking horizontal cables across the yoke. The yarn is cut after each cable round to make the cables completely seamless.
Once the yoke is complete, the body and sleeves are separated and worked top down in plain double crochet rounds. The pattern offers shaping options for a more fitted or relaxed sleeve, as well as optional waist shaping for the body.
Both knitted and crocheted ribbing options are included, with full instructions for each, so you can customize the finishing to your preference.The sweater is designed with 14–20 cm (5.5–8 in) of positive ease around the chest for a relaxed, modern fit. This unisex design was created by a male designer with the aim of bringing more thoughtfully shaped, modern crochet garment options for men, while remaining versatile for all wearers.
