Window seat is an easily memorisable slip stitch pattern that adds interest and texture, making the most of colour changes. There are two different variations of the pattern; one is a two colour version and the other is written to work with self striping yarn.

Finding a simple stitch repeat to work with self striping yarn was my main inspiration behind this pattern (I have a LOT of self striping yarn in stash), but when I started working up the two colour version, I completely fell in love with it! It took me a while to come up with a name for this pattern, but I eventually settled on Window Seat. The stitch pattern creates these lovely little windows for another colour to peek through, and it also reminds me of when I am travelling and need something mindless to knit whilst staring out of the window!

The pattern includes x2 different toe options, x2 different stitch variations and instructions for a high instep heel adjustment so please read the pattern carefully before casting on.
