A must knit for beginners and experienced knitters alike, the Windowpane Cowl combines two gorgeous yarns (one solid, one color-progression) with an easy colorwork repeat. The result? A stunning statement piece that also keeps you cozy and warm!

This cowl is a simple tube which is provisionally cast on and then grafted at the end. A playful pompom adorned I-cord will have people stopping you on the street asking you where they can get their own! We can’t wait to see the stunning combos you create!

NEEDLES

Needles listed are suggested. Always take time
to swatch.

• US #5 (3.75mm) 16” circular needles,
or size needed to obtain gauge listed above.
• US #4 (3.5 mm) Double Pointed Needles (for I-cord)

TOOLS
• Waste yarn
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle
• One extra set of circular needles in gauge size
or smaller

NOTE TO KNITTERS
• Yardage is listed with approx 15% padding. Piece can be knit with 2 skeins of Dyed in the Wool (instead of 3) however, the piece would need to be about 1-2” shorter in circumference. If doing this, I recommend knitting the I-cord and making poms first and then using the rest of your yarn to knit the cowl.
