Needles:

• Recommend knitting a gauge swatch in
moss pattern as well as one in stranded colorwork worked flat and over the slip stitch pattern worked flat as they will each likely have different tensions. (I used size 9 needles for the moss and ribbing, size 10 (6 mm) for colorwork portions, and size 11 (8 mm) for the slip stitch sections)
• Additional gauge-size needles in your preferred method of small circumference knitting for the sleeves and seaming the shoulders.
Notions:
• Stitch marker, row counter, tapestry needle, stitch holder or waste yarn
Construction:
The front and back of Windshore are knit flat in pieces and feature short row shaping in the shoulders. The shoulders are seamed together using the horizontal seaming method, and the sides are seamed using the mattress stitch. The sleeves are picked up from the body and worked in the round.
