A great, DK weight hat is perfect for lots of climates. This hat is both light and lacy, yet graphic and hip. The pattern flows seamlessly from beginning to end, starting with the double brim (folded under or over depending on your preference) through the zigzag lace and into the fun star motif that formed by the decreases. Looks great worn tight to the head as a beanie, or with an extra repeat for a casual, slouchy fit.

One size fits most :: brim is 19” in circumference for both hats, beanie is 8” tall, slouch is 10” tall unstretched. Since the entire hat features a ribbed pattern it is very stretchy and fits a variety of head sizes well.

One skein of TFA DK weight yarn makes beanie or slouchy version.

Pattern is completely charted with written instructions as well.
