This is a very quick to knit project even with the cables!

A very stretchy braided cable beanie, the small will fit a child from about 6 - 11 years, using worsted weight (#4) yarn and the large beanie will fit a teen or adult from 12 years + using bulky weight (#5) yarn.

The small beanie uses sizes 8 (5mm) and 10 (6mm) 16” circular needles, while the large beanie uses sizes 9 (5.5mm) and 11 (8mm) 16” circular needles (or sizes to equal the gauge).

A cable needle is required, and a straight cable needle (or even a blunt tapestry needle) seems to be less fidgety and easier to use instead of a curved one.
