DESCRIPTION

The WINDY DAY design is concentrated on fit and structure to great effect. Alongside this, colour still plays a large part, yet effectively celebrates striping throughout the body. The WINDY DAY sweater is worked top-down, beginning at the saddle shoulder, the body is connected at the front and the back, knit in the round to create a well-fitting design.

The Bee Stitch creates a textured surface, reminiscent of a honeycomb. Using the Knit One Below stitch found in the Fisherman’s rib, this pattern makes a fluffy and light fabric. Although it looks complicated, the bee stitch is relatively easy to knit.

SIZE DIAGRAM NOTE

The garment is calculated to given tension. The correct tension controls both the shape and size of a garment. The size diagram (in the picture above) shows the finished garment and its dimensions, so that you can see how much ease there will be for your size. To be extra sure, measure a similar shaped garment and compare it with the size diagram.

A = Bust / chest width: 43 (47) 53 (58) 63 cm
B = Full length: ca. 62 (64) 66 (68) 69 cm
C = Shoulder width: 41 (44) 50 (54) 59 cm
D = Arm length: ca. 45 (45) 46 (46) 46 cm

  • Measure your shoulder width by measuring the distance between the two shoulder bones at the top of each shoulder.
