Windy Nook is inspired by a part of Gateshead where I walk every day and, as the name suggests, I always need a hat!
It is a textured beanie, pompom optional, which is quick and easy to knit.
It is sizes for Child, Teen, Adult Small and Adult Large, so there should be a size for the whole family
I used a beautiful skein of SW merino but this pattern works well in any DK weight yarn, and you will have plenty left over for the pompom.
