Windy Shirt is a modern and airy summer shirt. It has a loose-fit style and an elegant boat neck, which gives the garment a feminine and refined look.

Windy shirt is worked from the bottom up in rows.
The bottom edge is worked in a 1x1 rib crochet edging. The armhole is finished with a garter stitch effect motif, very similar to knitting.

Level: beginner friendly.

This pattern includes written instructions as well as numerous video tutorials to guide you through all steps. You will also find instructions on how to change the length as you like.

XS, (S), M, (L), XL, (2XL) to fit a bust circumference of: 80 – 85; (85 – 90); 90 – 95; (95 – 100); 100 – 110; (110 – 120) cm; 31 ½ - 33 ½; (33½ - 35½); 35½ - 37½; (37½ - 39½); 39½ - 43¼; (43¼ - 47¼) inches.

Windy shirt is designed to have approx. 24 to 28 cm of positive ease, meaning the finished garment will measure 24 to 28 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Gauge
10 x 10 cm = 18 sts x 9 rows with a 4 mm hook in a lace stitch pattern.

Recommended Hooks
4 mm, and 4.5 mm.

We reccomend to use the hook size that allows you to obtain the correct gauge indicated in the pattern (if your tension is tight, you may need a larger hook, if it is lose you may need a smaller one).

Notions
You will also need stitch markers, scissors, a tape measure and a tapestry needle.

Yarn
You will need approximately 500 (600), 700, (800), 900, (1000) meters of DK weight yarn.

Please note that the yarn amount may vary based on your personal modifications and the type of fiber used.
For this project, you can use different types of yarn, such as cotton, viscose, linen, etc. The important thing is to select a yarn with a similar yardage to the one indicated (respecting the weight/length ratio), and always make a gauge swatch before starting your work.
To ensure a lightweight garment and optimal drape, we recommend using yarns that are not too heavy.

For my shirt, I used one and a half skeins of Tencel (100% Lyocell; 200 g / 450 m per skein).

Windy Shirt è una maglietta estiva moderna, leggera e ariosa. È caratterizzata da una morbida vestibilità in stile loose fit e da un elegante scollo a barca, che dona al capo un aspetto femminile e raffinato.

La maglietta si lavora dal basso verso l’alto con righe di andata e ritorno. Il bordo inferiore è lavorato con un motivo a coste 1/1, il giromanica invece viene rifinito con un motivo effetto maglia legaccio, del tutto simile alla maglia ai ferri.

La lunghezza è facilmente regolabile e può essere adattata alle proprie preferenze e al proprio stile personale.

Nel pattern troverai istruzioni scritte e tanti video tutorial allegati che ti aiuteranno nei passaggi più importanti.

Windy shirt è disegnata con un agio positivo da 24 a 28 cm ca., ciò significa che misurerà dai 24 ai 28 cm in più rispetto alla tua circonferenza busto.

Uncinetti consigliati
4 mm e 4.5 mm.
Si consiglia di scegliere la misura di uncinetto che ti permette di ottenere la stessa tensione del campione indicato (se la tua mano è stretta potresti aver bisogno di un uncinetto più grande, se è lenta di uno più piccolo).

Avrai bisogno di alcuni marcapunti, forbici, metro e un ago da maglia.

Filato
Avrai bisogno di circa: 500, (600), 700, (800), 900, (1000), metri di filato di spessore DK.

Si prega di notare che la quantità di filato potrebbe variare in base alle proprie modifiche e al tipo di fibra utilizzata.
Per questo progetto puoi utilizzare diverse tipologie di filato, come per esempio cotone, viscosa, lino ecc. L’importante è selezionare un filato con un metraggio simile a quello indicato (rispettando il rapporto peso/lunghezza), e fare sempre un campione prima di iniziare il lavoro. Per garantire comunque un capo leggero e un drappeggio ottimale, si consiglia l’uso di filati non troppo pesanti.

Per la mia maglietta ho usato un gomitolo e mezzo di Tencel (100% Lyocell; 200 g / 450 m per gomitolo) nel colore bianco.
