This design was originally produced for the Yarn Tree Sock Club and called Wine Country Socks. I’ve made a little change to the short row heel to make the heel pocket a little deeper and fit better on the foot. Although written for a woman’s medium foot (about size 8), it would be easy to vary the size by working fewer or more inches on the instep before beginning the toe.
