KnitCircus Yarns provides a kit available here in Spectacular, their single ply merino. Enjoy!

Wingra Creek is a cowl with floating stitches spiraling from bottom to top with an elegant i-cord cast on and bind off.

Wingra Creek looks great in drapey silk blends for a light, spring cowl. The pattern is written for a 50” around by 8.5” deep cowl, however, and the size can easily be adjusted.

Needles: Size 4 circular needle (at least 32 inches around), or size needed for appropriate stitch gauge. Row gauge is not important for this pattern.

Yarn: Sample uses 370 yards of SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Fine, a heavy fingering silk merino blend. Wingra Creek would work well in any light sport to fingering weight yarn. Note that Merino Silk Fine has been discontinued, the suggested yarn is now KnitCircus Spectacular, though this cowl works well with a variety of yarn!

Finished Measurements: Customizeable, but as written 50” around by 8.5” deep
