These fingerless gloves feature a beautiful lace panel reminiscent of delicate wings in flight. The undulating lace pattern will make the most of yarns with long color changes, such as Noro Cashmere Island, but it will look just as attractive in a solid color yarn.

The mitts are knitted flat in order to simplify the lace panel knitting, making this pair a very quick and easy knit. Instrustions are included for a simple buttonhole thumb opening as well as a thumb gusset for more coverage. The ribbed pattern is very stretchy and will accomodate a wide range of hand sizes.

The Wings of Desire Scarf pattern features matching lace design for a perfect set: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wings-of-desire-s...
