As described, this pattern makes an asymmetrical shawl that covers the shoulders nicely. You can change any of the parameters to make a larger or smaller shawl. Gauge is not important; however, this particular gauge uses up exactly two balls of Scarfie yarn.

The contrast rows are worsted weight yarns from my stash; I’d guess it takes about six yards of each. With ten segments, I used graduated colors from deep blue through purples to red to neon orange. I encourage you to play with colors, textures, and weights of yarn!
