Level of Difficulty:
This is a Beginner Tunisian Crochet pattern for a fully reversible cowl, featuring a simple hexagonal motif (using two colors of Wonderfluff). Despite the appearance, there are NO color changes involved! It assumes comfortable knowledge of basic crochet stitches, and includes full video tutorial of how to set up for Tunisian stitches as well as for the stitches themselves.

Materials:

  • Size 5 Bulky yarn (see below for yardage)
  • 9mm (USM-13) double ended Tunisian Crochet Hook. Alternatively you can use 9mm/8mm interchangeable Tunisian Hooks, or sizes needed to meet gauge.
  • yarn needle
  • scissors
  • stitch marker (to mark the beginning of the round)

Yardage (total):
Adult Medium 245yds/225m/3oz/85g

Gauge: (worked in the round)
13 sts x 14 rounds = 4” (10cm) in Tunisian Knit Stitch

Finished measurements:
Adult Medium 25” circumference, 11” tall.
