This blanket appears to be made from bright and beautiful tri-colored triangles, but it is actually constructed of hexagons! It is made with relaxing garter stitch, and the color combinations are endless. This blanket is perfect for cuddling on the couch and reading a good book or binge watching your favorite shows.

There is no intarsia with this blanket, you are only knitting with one color at a time.

Construction:

Modular construction for each of the hexagons. The hexagons are then sewn together.

Yarn:

Yarn used was an assortment of SweetGeorgia tough love sock because it comes in so many beautiful colors.

However, I strongly suggest stash diving because each triangle takes very little yarn. You can mix and match your leftover yarn from previous projects for a beautiful one-of-a-kind blanket.

Size: 71” (180 cm) x 54” (137 cm). You can make yours as big or as small as you wish.

Each hexagon is made up with modular construction, made up of six separate sections. Each section is made using three colors. You could chose to use only one or two colors, or you could chose to use more than three colors.

The pattern provides photo tutorials throughout to assist the development of your hexagons. Additionally, a schematic is provided so you can color in segments to see if you like the color combinations.
