Keep your baby bear warm this season with the “Winter Bear Beanie”!

The body of this hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The muzzle appliqué is worked flat and separately. The nose is embroidered on the muzzle using the “Duplicate Stitch”, then the muzzle is sewn to the beanie. The eyes are embroidered using “Duplicate Stitch” directly onto the beanie. The ears are pom-pom’s and attached last.

This pattern assumes the knitter has experience with knitting in the round and sewing appliqués. BASIC instructions are provided for making the pom-pom’s and working “Duplicate Stitch”. There are plenty of videos and photo tutorials available on the internet if further instructions are needed.

I provide pattern support as much as possible. Please feel free to message me with any questions or comments you have about this pattern.
