Soft as a snowflake, these long gloves feature a lacy cable motif that runs from cuff to fingertip. Seed stitch edging, reverse-stockinette ground, and a tiny button-and-loop closure at the cuff add further textural interest. Worked in a fingering weight yarn with a touch of cozy-soft cashmere, they feel just as elegant as they look!

  • Pattern includes charted and written instructions for the main cable-lace motif.
  • Techniques used: knitting flat and in the round on dpns; increasing and decreasing (k2tog, ssk, yo, p2tog, and pfb); simple cables; twisted sts (ktbl).
  • Other fingering-weight yarn of your choice may be substituted for the recommended yarn; however, this may change the yardage required for your project. When in doubt, get an extra skein!

Errata: Line 15 of the written instructions for the lace motif is incorrect. It should read as follows:

P1, ktbl, p1, c2l, p2, k1, p1, k1, p2, c2r, p1, ktbl, p1

This error has been corrected in the latest version of the pattern, which is 120413_2. If you purchased a previous version through Ravelry, you should automatically be notified and given access to newer versions; please PM the designer if you have any difficulty with updates.
