This is a pattern for a DK AND/OR a Sock weight cowl worked in the round and using the Fair-Isle knitting technique. Winter cowl is worked in the round from a provisional cast on with 3 large winter motif charts and 3 smaller border charts, being worked twice across. The charts are numbered, but placed non-consecutively; work larger panel charts with smaller border charts between them and repeat any charts as many times as you like.

a variety of colours adding up to 462 - 924 yds (422 - 845 m)

needles:
3.25mm (us no 3) DPNs, 6in/15cm
Some knitters work stranded and on-coloured at different gauges. Change needles as needed to keep gauge the same throughout.
