This beautiful, free knitting pattern for MSD size is a great introduction to doll/miniature lace knitting! It has a simple lace pattern repeating throughout the cape, which is fitted around the neck and shoulder and flows down beautifully over the shoulders, reminiscent of ice crystals. It would be beautiful for a winter themed ice princess <3 It’s made to fit MSD, but can be altered to fit SD as well-there are instructions for that in the pattern as well.

To complete this project, I’m using one skein of Ito Sensai yarn in the sample, and 0.75 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm needles. It would be a good introduction to lace knitting, but it does assume you’ve knitted something before.
