has been captured in the Winter Forest Big Hood Balaclava.
Its coziness will welcome you.

This design is a bottom-up style that starts from the base by casting on with waste yarn and knitting upwards.
The work proceeds in the following order: body-side ribbing-tbottom ribbing. As shown in the samples below,
you can create two types of Big Hood Balaclavas.
First, choose between the Standard Type or the Size-Adjustable Type based on your preference.
Standard Type: This is a one-size version. It features decreases at the crown to wrap the head in a rounded shape.
Size-Adjustable Type: This form allows you to adjust the length freely. The crown is finished with a pointed shape.
After working on the body first according to the selected option, you will work on the side ribbing.
Finally, unravel the waste yarn to pick up stitches and work on the bottom ribbing.

1) Difficulty: ★★★☆☆ (For those who can read Japanese-style charts and are proficient in picking up stitches)
2) Recommended Yarn Weight: Sport-DK (225~300m per 100g)
3) Required Amount: Sport: 220g~230g (660m~690m), DK: 230g~250g (520m~560m)
Usage may vary depending on individual tension, so please prepare yarn with some margin.
4) Recommended Needles: Two 3.5mm knitting needles (or needles that match the gauge)
5) Pattern Gauge: chart in pattern
6) Knitting Techniques: Knit, Purl, Twisted stitch, Moss stitch, etc.
7) Additional Supplies: 2.5mm knitting needle, 4.0mm knitting needle, crochet hook, waste yarn, tapestry needle,
sewing needle, markers, two 20mm buttons
Among the additional needles, please prepare one needle two sizes smaller and one needle one size larger
than your main needle.
